Einsatzgebiet der Relaisbaugruppe PMB-01 ist die sichere potentialgetrennte Meldung von Signalen an externe
Baugruppen bei Bemessungsisolationsspannungen innerhalb der Anlage bis 1400 V (DC oder AC-peak).

Die Relaisbaugruppe zeichnet sich durch folgende Eigenschaften aus:
- Solide galvanische Trennung:
- Stehstoßspannungs-Festigkeit (1,2/50 µs): 15kV,
- Kriechstrecke (Spule-Kontakte): > 25mm,
- Luftstrecke (Spule-Kontakte): > 25mm.
- Hohe Gleichspannungs-Schaltfestigkeit der Relaiskontakte: nominal 353V DC (250V AC eff.), max. 900V DC. *)
- Schnelle Anzugs- und Abfallzeiten der Kontakte (typ. 1,2ms/0,5ms), dadurch hohe Schaltfrequenzen bis 500Hz möglich.
- Extrem flaches Gehäuse:
Nur 22,5mm Gehäusebreite bei bis zu 4 Kanälen. - Einfache Montage auf Norm-Tragschiene ("Hutschiene").
- Einfache Verdrahtung durch steckbare Schraubklemmen.
- Schalt-Zustandsanzeige für jeden Kanal.
